ConvertStation

ConvertStation is a browser-first conversion workspace for images, audio, video, documents, archives, ebooks, presentations, spreadsheets, and vector files.

What was carried forward

The app keeps the upload queue, theme support, format detection, FFmpeg loading, conversion utilities, history, and local-first workflow while organizing the format library into the same broad families people expect from a universal converter.

Live browser lanes

Images use the browser canvas pipeline. Audio and video use FFmpeg WebAssembly loaded on demand. The remaining categories are catalogued in the interface and ready for a future document conversion engine.

Privacy

The interface is designed so the selected source file stays in the browser while conversion occurs. A local history record stores filenames and conversion metadata in your browser only.
